The scenic coastal route follows rugged cliff tops and sweeping harbour views, taking in restored WWII coastal defence gun emplacements, Scott's Cabin, and panoramic vistas across Pegasus Bay, Lyttelton Harbour, and the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, enjoy light refreshments while keeping an eye out for seals, dolphins, and native birdlife.


Covering approximately 4 km with around 2.5 hours of walking and an elevation gain of 185 metres, this relaxed experience can be tailored to suit your preferred pace and interests.
